Poetic Journey, upcoming workshops in Brixton

My friend Hannah is facilitating a poetry group called Poetic Journey, starting this Saturday, September 6th in Brixton, London:

Write your own road…

Poetic Journey is a 12-week course exploring and creating the journeys of our lives – physical journeys and inner journeys – through poetry.

The course focuses on six key questions for every traveller:

ORIENTATION: Where am I?
PLANNING: Where do I want to go?
PACKING: What do I need to take?
COMPANIONS: Who will go with me?
NAVIGATION: How do I find my way?
STAMINA: How do I keep going?

Each two-hour session combines reading, writing, talking and doing. Everyone welcome, from total beginners to experienced poets.

WHEN? Saturdays 6 September – 22 November 4.30-6.30pm.
WHERE? Upper Hall, Brixton St Vincent's Community Centre, Talma Road, London SW2 1AS.
